  • User Preferences: Your selected interests (e.g., Productivity, Games) used to customize your feed.
  • Account Metadata: Timestamps recording when you installed the extension or completed the tutorial. We use this to ensure the onboarding flow is not shown to you twice.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party public APIs to display content within the extension. These services may receive your IP address when a request is made (standard web protocol), but we do not share your User ID or personal preferences with them:

Hacker News API Fetches the latest technology headlines.
Advice Slip API Provides random productivity tips.
Wikimedia API Fetches "On This Day" historical events.
Useless Facts API Provides entertaining random trivia.
Stoic Quote API Fetches mindfulness quotes for the Stoic widget.

4. Data Usage

We use your data solely to:

5. Your Rights

You can delete your local data at any time by removing the FocusWhileAI extension from Chrome. You may contact us to request the deletion of your cloud-synced data.
